UULIS Party @ Funky Buddha ( London )

K.I.S. in association with the Queen Mary, UCL, and Westminster Persian Societies have come together to present to you the first United Universities of London Iranian Societies (UULIS) event of the year.

On Monday 1st December, for the first time at the amazing Funky Buddha, we will be dancing to the best of Persian, Arabic, RnB and Funky House music.
Tickets are now on sale. Prices are £10 for Members, £15 for Non-Members.

Students from other Universities get in contact with your respective Iranian Societies for tickets. For tables, which we have arranged with low minimum spend, please call Aram.

In order to benefit from the member prices you must be a member of the King's College, Queen Mary, UCL or Westminster Iranian Society. Membership is £5 and is open to anyone, so please get in touch with the respective societies (contact numbers on poster).

Make sure you get your tickets in advance as they are being sold on a first come first serve basis and will no doubt run out quickly. Both UULIS and Funky Buddha operate a very strict door policy so please arrive in mixed groups as groups of guys will not be admitted.

The Venue

Funky Buddha

Between the Victorian elegance of Berkley Square and the Imperial magnificence of Piccadilly, you might be surprised to find a club that oozes with Eastern decadence, but find it you will in the form of Funky Buddha. While be-suited fat men wobble their way towards Annabel’s, the sexy socialites slink past the doormen of FB and make their way downstairs to the main dance-floor and bar area. This is the place to go if you want to watch Premiership footballers, Big Brother 'stars', Russian playboys and page three models at play - and prices are as steep as you'd expect. If you’re lucky, you might have booked a table in the VIP sections where you can sit and be served by waitresses and watch the beautiful people do their thing. If not, you’ll be on the dance-floor strutting your funky stuff beneath a Buddha's impassive gaze. But let’s face it, if you’re in Funky Buddha you’re there to dance, drink and flirt and you’ll find plenty of opportunity to do all three.
