Base on the Penrhyn Road campus, Bar Zen is the largest bar that the student's Union operates and reflects the huge mix of students on the campus. With a vibrant and busy atmosphere, a range of entertainment and music from Cheese to R&B, and Bhangra to live bands, this is the place to socialise at any time of the day. Don't miss the pool competitions, pub quizzes, and karaoke & theme nights.

Bar Zen has Sky TV with a big screen and plasma screens making it the best place in Kingston to watch the big sporting games or your favourite music videos. With the new Sub.tv system there is also a medium to watch your own sporting achievements and homemade films as well as keeping you up to date with what's going on at the Student's Union. During the day Subway within Bar Zen provides the perfect food solution to the student pocket, whilst being rather healthy too! Have a quick breakfast sub on the way to a lecture or try the Subway pizza, which provides an excellent meal. All food is wrapped for take away so, if you're in a rush, just take it with you!
